Edward, Alphonse, and Winry arrive in Rush Valley, where State Alchemist Edwards’ pocket watch is stolen by a pickpocket named Paninha. Winry convinces Paninho to stop pickpocketing and return State Alchemist Edwards’ pocket watch, but first, Winry looks
inside and sees the date the Elric brothers burned down their house.
Lieutenant Reese Hawkeye informs Edward and Alphonse that state alchemist Shaw Tucker and another talking chimera have been killed. When Father Cornero realized that Edward and Alphonse were alchemists, he ambushed Brother Eric with chimeras.
Just as Skar was about to end, Edward, the National Alchemist, stepped in. It was then that Scar revealed that his brother studied alchemy to fight the attacking state alchemists.
